How Living is a Miracle

We often hear about miracles in the bible, and sometimes we see them in movies but that's it. We don't really appreciate our lives as anything special, but the truth is we don't really pay attention to the small things that make you living a miracle.

First, let's try to understand how you are the only one of you that will ever exist in this world/life. There is no one else like you and there will never be. This makes you the most unique thing in this world. In other words, your existence is a miracle.

Your daily life is a miracle too. Every day you go to sleep without knowing what tomorrow will bring or if you will survive the night. So when you wake up in the morning thank God for that miracle. It's not something to take for granted but we all forget, me too. So take a moment to realize how your day this day is your miracle.

Our mere existence is also a miracle for others as their existence is also a miracle for us. I don't know how old you are but I know that other people have impacted your life in one way or another; from parents, friends, acquaintances, books, videos, heck even me too, I'm trying to make a impact in your life. The point is we all need each other and if at some point you've had someone help you out consider that a miracle because what if that person wasn't born or never met you? The small acts of kindness we give and receive add up over time to get us to this point in time. That is, all the small details that have happened to you have led you to this present moment and any small change from the path you've taken could've led you to a different outcome. Whether we like our present or not doesn't matter, Dr. Myles Munroe in his book Keys for Men explains how

whenever you let a negative history determine your future your present is in trouble, what we are about is creating history.

If you took a taxi or a bus and reached your destination I consider that a miracle too. Just yesterday I was almost involved in an accident where I had to nudge the driver to re’center his steering wheel as we almost crashed into the car in the other lane. Anything really can happen and everything does happen, just because it hasn’t happened to you doesn’t mean it can't. I don't mean to scare you but to make you appreciate your living that much more because it’s a miracle, well as far as am concerned it is even if you don’t see or realise it yet.

Any moment could be your last so if you get a chance to live another second of it, live it, It’s A MIRACLE.
